Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of over 113 known naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the Cannabis Sativa L Plant (Hemp). CBD is known for naturally providing relief from pain, stress, anxiety and sleep issues all without producing any psychoactive effects. That is right, CBD is completely non-psychoactive.

How does CBD work?

CBD interacts with the human body through the endocannabinoid system which is considered the primary regulatory system of the body and plays a major role in regulating key body functions such as pain, sleep, appetite and mood.

Our bodies naturally produce their own endocannabinoids to support the ECS but just like any nutrient, our bodies may need additional support especially when experiencing mental and physical stress. Sol Care CBD naturally supports your endocannabinoid system to help you restore calm and get relief.

Simply put, CBD works with the human body by preventing the breakdown of the endocannabinoids our body naturally produces.

What is Full-Spectrum CBD?

Full-spectrum CBD products contain all the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found in the cannabis plant, including trace amounts of THC. When all these cannabinoids work together, this is known as the "entourage effect." This theory suggests that the interaction between different cannabis compounds offers greater therapeutic benefits than the use of CBD alone.

There are also broad-spectrum CBD products, which contain all compounds found in cannabis except for THC and CBD isolate, which is pure CBD without any other compounds or cannabinoids.

At Sol Care, all of the products included in our initial launch are full-spectrum.

Why tinctures?

Tinctures are an effective and convenient delivery system for CBD, great for when you are on the go. When our CBD oil tincture is taken sublingually, it is quickly and effectively absorbed through the mucous membranes, bypassing the digestive system and increasing bioavailability of the medicine.

Sublingual delivery provides rapid effects similar to smoking without exposing the lungs to heat, tar and other byproducts. Using a tincture sublingually is great product/delivery system choice for you if you want to avoid dealing with the smell, dry mouth or coughing that may be experienced when smoking flower.

How can I use your Sol Care Daily Chill Drops?

sublingually - which means dropping the oil directly under your tongue, holding for 30-60 seconds, and then swallowing.

in a beverage - drop a measured amount into a beverage of your choice like coffee or tea.

What is smokable CBD flower?

Smoking cannabis flower is a tried-and-true method that has been practiced throughout the ages. Inhalation has an immediate effect because active molecules enter the bloodstream through the lungs, bypassing the digestive system. There are many methods to smoke flower including joints, pipes and bongs.

What is the recommended dosage when using Sol Care Daily Chill Drops CBD oil?

Every human body is different and for this reason there is not a one size fits all dosage recommendation.

We recommend starting small with a ¼ dropper or less under your tongue. Wait about 30-45 minutes to see how you feel before taking more.

Our Daily Chill Drops contain 1000mg of CBD per 30ml. We selected this strength because its high potency lends itself to great dosage versatility. Approximate dropper strength by dosage:

  • 1 full dropper (1 ml) = 33mg
  • ¾ dropper = 25mg
  • ½ dropper = 17mg
  • ¼ dropper = 8mg

*Approximate values

Stay tuned for strength varieties releasing in the future!

Does CBD have psychoactive effects? Will CBD get me high?

No. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive and will not produce any mind altering effects. Sol Care CBD contains less than 0.3% THC and will not get you high.

Will CBD appear on a drug test?

Although our CBD contains less than 0.3% THC, there is no guarantee that it will not appear on a drug test as a false positive. Please consult with your primary physician and/or employer if this is a concern.

Can I take my CBD with my prescribed medication?

We strongly recommend not using CBD with prescribed medications until you consult with your Doctor. CBD is generally non-reactive with other medications, however there are always exceptions.

Is CBD legal?

Yes. Full-spectrum hemp products containing less than .3% THC are considered federally legal in the United States. Having only trace amounts of THC, our full-spectrum CBD is legal in all 50 states.
